McLaren Software Releases DocLoader for EMC - Documentum 6.5

Bulk and batch loading for EMC – Documentum 6.5, 6.0 and 5.3.users

EMC World Orlando Florida 18th May 2009

DocLoader is accredited under the Designed for EMC program and is one of the most popular bulk and batch loading tools available with over 1,000 licenses sold to date.

DocLoader enables the rapid and controlled bulk and batch loading of documents, including CAD Drawings, from legacy and external sources into an EMC
Documentum repository. Imports are set up via easy to follow wizards and is fully integrated with Microsoft Excel 2003 or 2007 for data manipulation and the definition
of business rules. These business rules can be shared by all other DocLoader users to ensure consistency and compliance with company standards. This includes
automatic population and validation of attribute data during the import process and the generation of audit trails to provide a comprehensive import history.

DocLoader can be extended using Post Processing functions enabling users to manipulate and interact with imported content including; the creation of virtual
documents, attaching documents to a Documentum lifecycle and launching a workflow, sending the document to a user, manipulating document attribute data and
the automatic execute of DQL Queries. This Post Processing capability together with the configurable data validation rules ensure that only the right data and content get
into your controlled Documentum Repository.

Newly released DocLoader Project enables up to 65,000 documents to be migrated in a single load. DocLoader Personal designed for smaller batches shares the same
configuration sheets to enable the import of up to 50 documents in a single batch.
