McLaren Software Releases Enterprise Engineer Web Services

Extending the reach of Enterprise Engineer to people and processes across the enterprise.

Houston, Texas 24th February 2009

McLaren Software, a leading Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Applications developer specializing in asset-centric
document management, announces the release of Enterprise EngineerTM Web Services.

The availability of Enterprise EngineerTM Web Services is an indication of both the maturity of Enterprise EngineerTM as a leading asset documentation and business
process application suite and the demand to integrate content and data management technologies to provide customer solutions.

Enterprise EngineerTM Web Services include; the McLaren Search Service to provide the ability for SAPTM and MaximoTM users to search for specific documentation, the
McLaren Simple Object Service allows an external application to automatically create objects (i.e. documents) managed by Enterprise EngineerTM within either an EMC -
DocumentumTM or IBM -FileNet P8TM repository. The McLaren Java Class Data Provider allows the creation of a custom Java class to populate Enterprise Engineer
dynamic dialogs with data from an external source, such as a file, database or web service.

"Having recently reached the 100th Enterprise EngineerTM customer milestone the demand for further integration with a range of enterprise applications can now be met
with the release of Enterprise Engineer Web Services and integration components. The value of an Enterprise Engineer installation can now be increased by extending
its reach to a wider group of users requiring access to validated engineering documentation without leaving their primary application" comments Susan Trueman,
Product Manager McLaren Software.
