DocLoader utilizes the power, flexibility and familiarity of
Microsoft Excel (2003 and 2007) combined with easy to follow
wizards to assist the user through the import process.
Microsoft Excel is used to create Attribute Sheets, which collate
the attributes of the original source documents, and Configuration
Sheets which, map and manipulate the attribute data to create the
imported documents in the repository with the correct attributes
and attribute values.
The DocLoader Configuration Sheets are stored within the
repository, thus making them available to any DocLoader user which
promotes consistency, enables version control and enforces business
process across different locations. For example, a DocLoader
Project configuration sheet created by your headquarters based in
New York could be shared with your satellite offices in London and
Singapore using DocLoader Personal.
Powerful Post Processing
The power of DocLoader can be extended using Post Processing
functionality to enable users to manipulate and interact with the
data and documents imported to the Documentum repository. Examples
